Heritage Christian School is a K12 coeducational school founded on biblical principles for the purpose of enabling children and young people to grow in wisdom and in stature. The gospel of Christ is our measure for this. All staff employed at Heritage Christian School are active members of local evangelical churches. We have embraced a strengths based educational philosophy, focused on developing students’ gifts and abilities. Students participate in service and missions programs within local and global contexts. As parents considering a Christian School there are imperative questions to interrogate yourself. Christian education, therefore, has to do with every subject of knowledge. Students in Year 7 experience a broad range of subjects, enabling them to profit experience in studying many areas and helping them to discover and further flourish their God given talents into areas of strength. Students in Year 8 experience a similarly broad range of subjects to those studied in Year 7, enabling them to remain gaining experience in studying many areas and helping them to labor towards making scholarly optional subject choices in later years. This is in preparation for the senior years of schooling, where self motivated and self directed observe are essential to the win of students, equipping them both for tertiary observe and also the workplace. Senior Schooling is a challenging time as students move from mandatory schooling into the worlds of post compulsory education, tertiary studies and employment.
